Research of competitiveness evaluation and cluster analysis on airlines

As the domestic civil aviation market develops rapidly, the competition among airlines becomes fiercer. So the airlines should maintain their market share, because that´s significant for them to survive and develop. This thesis, from the practical situation of airlines, firstly uses factorial analysis method to evaluate airlines competitiveness index system; and then according to the index system, its clustering analysis is to empirically research the small and medium sized domestic airlines. As the results, we divide the 14 airlines into three categories. That is identical with the division of airlines´ competitiveness and the practical situation of domestic civil aviation market.
