Abstract :
In digital and wireless communication systems, a sequence with special pattern is used as synchronization sequence. The synchronization is equivalent to making a phase offset between a receiving synchronization sequence and its receiver stored replica be identical. In this paper we present an efficient synchronization algorithm which can be used for binary sequences. The proposed synchronization scheme can detect the error in phase offset values and thus it can improve the synchronization performance. We also verify the performance enhancement of the proposed method compared to the correlation method in noisy channel environment.
