  • Abstract
    In order to improve the measurement range, precision, speed and convenience of the 3D measurement system, the color 3D measurement system using stereo flags is researched based on the single portable 3D measurement system, thus to reach the requirement of the production design, reverse engineering, rapid manufacture and quality control. The stereo flags can improve the measurement precision. Compared with the existing vision model, the proposed system has the merits, such as small volume, low cost, large measurement range, flexible, etc. The stereo flag color 3D measurement system change the measurement speed and improve the measurement precision. It can be used in the dimension inspection, shape design, and mould manufacture for Chinese large industry and manufacture field.
