Abstract :
The sequences with optimal autocorrelation have lots of application scenarios in communication, radar, and so forth. This paper focuses on the construction of the quaternary sequences with optimal autocorrelation. Based on the known binary sequences with optimal autocorrelation and odd length, the interleaving technique and the reverse Gray mapping, a method for constructing the optimal quaternary sequences is presented, and the symbol distribution of the proposed sequences is given in detail, which implies the proposed sequences are balanced.
