Abstract
Previously, design of perfect polyphase sequences in the Zak space was considered. It was shown that this approach is convenient in constructing new sequence sets and in assessing their properties. The key feature of the approach is the decoupling of sequence modulation and permutation. Here, we report initial results on how certain special permutations, called bat permutations, can be used to estimate the number of possible sequence set constructions.
