Abstract :
We investigate small direct current interruption phenomena by vacuum interrupters. When a small current is interrupted by a vacuum circuit breaker, the arc dynamic behavior such as oscillation phenomena play important roles, and these depend on discharge states between contacts. In this paper, we observed these dynamic responses immediately after some disturbance has been applied to a small DC arc current.
