Abstract
In order to track splitting targets, the tracking algorithm must make new tentative tracks and confirm the discovery of unknown targets by splitting them from known targets. The multiple hypothesis tracking (MHT) is a good algorithm which satisfies the requirement. We have improved the MHT and evaluate the its performance in splitting target tracking by simulation. We describe the performance evaluation.
