Abstract
Size reduction of a counter telescope with a large acceptance angle was achieved by using compact position sensitive gas counters with patterned cathodes. With these counter elements, the track of particles which pass through the telescope can be traced precisely. The coincidence counting and the tracing can realize a low background measurement. The counter can be realized to measure neutron spectra using a proton radiator. The performance for particle identification and position resolution of the developed telescope are reported. The spectrum of 241Am-Be neutrons has been measured
