Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present an integral gain changeable digital control dc-dc converter for the wide input and load regulation. The integral gain is switched by an average reactor current value, and its value is determined using the stabilization range of output voltage based on the integral control. Therefore, the proposed method can obtain good regulation characteristics in any input and load conditions. Furthermore, the proposed method shows a superior transient response compared with the conventional P-I-D control. As a result, the over shoot and the convergence time of output voltage can be improved by up to 22% and 75%.
