Abstract :
The RF front-end with high T/R isolation for Ka band mono-antenna frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) radar is introduced in this paper. By using of balanced passive cancellation network, the transmitter´s leaking signal is cancelled in receiving channel. Moreover, making use of orthogonal decomposition and cancellation principle for small reflecting signal in transmission line, the reflecting signal in antenna feeder due to mismatching is eliminated through introducing reflection cancellation tuner. Finally, more than 50 dB T/R isolation in 500MHz bandwidth is attained for radar front-end with greater than 200 mW transmitting power and less than 12dB receiving noise figure. The weight is no more than 150g.
