    Circuit board designers must meet the challenges of designing boards with faster signal speeds and more complicated timing and delay requirements to compete in current and future circuit board markets. Floorplanning is a concept that helps the designer solve these problems by providing feedback in real time, early in the process of designing the circuit, thus bypassing much of the expensive iterative process of redesign and rework.
