Abstract :
Generalized multiple signal classification (G-MUSIC) is proposed to estimate radial velocity in M pulses of each pulse train based on stepped-frequency-pulse-train (SFPT) signal. G-MUSIC is able to obtain high-resolution radial estimated velocity compared with the other conventional methods. We also get high-resolution range profile through the corresponding compensation with the estimated velocity. In addition, this method has good performance with small M as long as the requirement, i.e. M is larger than Q, can be met, where Q is the number of moving targets with different radial velocities. Simulation results corroborate the effectiveness of the method.
