Abstract :
Complex operation in aerodrome airside requires proper evaluation and analysis models to improve its safety and service quality. Many models are employed for airside analysis and operation reproduction. However, few simulation models study the airside operation from a global viewpoint. This paper proposes agent-oriented simulation model for overall airside operation using multi-agent approach. Different agents representing for arrival and departure aircrafts, tower controllers, ground controllers and resource in airside, and the interaction among these agents have been designed in this model. To achieve coordination between agents, different roles have been assigned to agents. Generation model of air traffic simulation flow and simulation algorithm are presented. This model is applied to a real case study. The simulation result indicates that the simulation model for airside operation can provide reference for the improvement of service in the aerodrome airside.
