Abstract
DeCapo unifies state, processing thread, synchronization, distribution, persistence, and mobility into the concept of an object. This is reflected both in the DaCapo programming language and the DaCapo system. By doing so, the authors have achieved a simple, yet powerful object model for object-oriented distributed software systems
