Abstract :
The classical cross-correlator detector, used to recover a desired signal from a noisy received signal, has been extended to a fuzzy correlator detector using fuzzy logic algebra to improve the detection of signals. The fuzzy detector uses the proposed combined fuzzy product to model the multiplication of two fuzzy sets. The performance of the fuzzy detector is demonstrated via simulation, and shown to be better than that of the classical correlator detector
