Abstract
We consider an intelligent location management strategy for next-generation cellular mobile networks. Assuming that there are two classes of users (with high and low mobility) in the network, we show that the location management strategy based on user mobility classes is superior to the pure intelligent paging strategy. By computer simulation, this paper provides how much performance difference is between the two strategies
