  • Abstract
This paper is about declaring environmental attributes of electronic products to fulfill international market needs. ECMA, a European based international organisation for standardisation of information and communication systems, has released their technical report TR/70, an industry-wide guide for declaring environmental attributes of electronic products. The report will be used in the industry as an answer to the proliferation of national eco-labels on the worldwide market place. Increased requirements of customers for environmental information and the proliferation of actual eco-labels with different test methods have lend the information and communication industry, via ECMA, to develop this technical report on product-relevant attributes and related measurement methods
