Abstract
Over the last 2 years Dell has become involved in the eco-labeling arena. Dell has received Blue Angel certification on 5 product families and most recently became the first computer company to receive the TCO 95 label on a PC. The Environmental and Ecology Department at Dell has pursued the label because the effort was based on a strong business case. The nature of Dell´s business model and customer requests have justified the environmental initiatives
