Abstract :
The contribution from the US Electrical Engineering Technology department´s industrial advisory board indicated that students need to be prepared in advance for project planning and management. This practical area is often neglected in current technology and engineering curricula because it seems intuitive and nonmathematical. This paper describes the experience of increasing the planning emphasis and introducing a software tool in a capstone design course
