Abstract
High altitude platforms (HAPs) opens a great way for extended and new communication services that cannot be supported by terrestrial or satellite-based systems. One major factor that affects the system performance is the power distribution within a HAP cell, therefore this paper is dedicated for the analysis of power distribution and profile when using antenna arrays in the radio coverage. An expression defining the power profile parameter and the cochannel interference ratio between cochannel cells is also shown.
