Abstract :
In the process of signal acquisition for satellite navigation receiver, compare to the non-coherent acquisition algorithm, the differential correlation based acquisition algorithm is better for improving SNR. Due to the high bit rate of navigation message on P-code, traditional differentially coherent integration algorithm can´t be used, a new method called bit-synchronization-based differentially coherent integration algorithm is presented, bit-synchronization is achieved during acquisition through the a periodic characteristic of P-code in order to avoid the effect of navigation message. From the theoretical analysis and probability density function fitting using real data, it is shown that this algorithm have 0.6 dB SNR improvement compare to non-coherent algorithm, and is proved through simulation by real data.
