Abstract :
The paper mainly utilizes the canonical correlation analysis and the partial correlation analysis methods. Based on the time series data in 1996-2008 and cross-section data in 2007 in Jiangsu province, an acute analysis of the science and technology talents and the development of new industries has been made. And the result reveals all kinds of professional and technical talents, personnel engaged in activities of science and technology and research and development which have made a prominent contribution to the development of high-tech industry in Jiangsu province.
