Abstract :
ATmega32 RISC microcontroller (RMCU) is very popular among the students, teachers, amateurs, engineers, scientists and hobbyists for building electronics projects. These designers, while developing their projects, wish to learn the architecture, instructions and interfacing of the RMCU but many of them remain outside of this opportunity due to unavailability of low-cost learning kits. There are learning kits like Atmel´s STK500 and many more, which are expensive to the readers of the under developed countries particularly of Bangladesh. This paper has presented all the resources for the design, development and testing of a low-cost ATmega32 Learning Kit. We assembled the Kit (let us call it RMCKIT, Fig. 1) based on the given resources and found it to work as expected. Interested readers may collect all these resources from the author at no cost and build their own learning kits.
