Abstract
In this paper, a kind of variable-voltage direct torque control (DTC) method for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system is proposed. In order to achieve a fully digitized hardware design scheme of a direct torque controller, this is verified and implemented on digital signal processor (DSP). It mainly introduces the theory of the system´s realization and the design method of hardware and software. This scheme integrates the direct torque controller strategy, the T speed measurement algorithm, the DTC algorithm and SVPWM principle as well as the DSP design methodology. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed direct torque controller.
