Abstract
In this paper the design and implementation of a high-performance measuring instrument based on multiple digital signal processors (DSPs) is discussed. It has been applied to implement a special measurement algorithm for the characterization of MSK (Minimum Shift Keying) impulsive radio-frequency signal transmitters, based on the time domain analysis. In addition, experimental results obtained using the system to characterize IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) and TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) actual devices are also reported
