Abstract :
In order to satisfy the demand of power and frequency of the power amplifier in radar system, Power synthesis technology and method of microwave wide bandand solid state power amplifier (SSPA) is discussed in this paper. By calculating the influence of phase and amplitude difference on the power output of SSPA, The maximal allowable phase difference and amplitude difference in every power module is presented and the circuit topology is presented too. At last SSPA with 1000 watt power output and 20% bandwidth at Ku band is desiged.
