Abstract
Link Performance Abstraction is very important to adaptive techniques and system level simulation. Mutual Information per Bit is a promising method in Link Performance Abstraction. This paper discusses the distribution of the LLR, and derives an accurate computing approach of Mutual information between data bits and their LLRs in terms of theory. Simulation results show that the proposed approach obtains better accuracy than the traditional algorithms.
