  • Abstract
    A model of the queue operation in a cyclic bandwidth allocation time division multiple access (TDMA) system is proposed and formulas to estimate the queuing delay from the model are derived. In the queue modelling, a cyclic bandwidth allocation algorithm is used, which allocates the bandwidth periodically for multiple access control. From the simplified numerical analysis, one can estimate intuitively the queuing delay in the cyclic bandwidth allocation TDMA system. It will be very useful in system design and implementation.
