Abstract :
Automatic recognition of a DNA sequence is considered. The DNA electrophoretogram is scanned by a photoelectric transducer. Using an inexpensive sampling microcomputer to work in parallel with the processing and recognition main computer, the processing time of the system has been improved. The recognition software for the DNA sequence combines a statistical method and syntax method, Through syntax analysis, a characteristic curve is generated using a statistical method. The computer can link the DNA sequence in real time. The system also has small memory requirement.<>
