Abstract
The performance of receivers for direct sequence spread spectrum systems in multi-path fading environments can be enhanced by using an antenna array which provide spatial diversity and selectivity. In this paper a blind adaptive antenna array, designed to work under multi-path environments, for spread spectrum systems is proposed. The antenna array receiver structure performs spatial filtering to null out interferers, while combining desired signal energy from different propagation paths. Neither synchronization with the interferers nor knowledge of the desired signal´s array response vector is assumed. Simulations are performed to show the performance of the algorithm.
