Abstract :
In this paper, motion platform forward-looking real-beam radar echo model is established based on certain hypothesis and approximations. Under this condition, the process of radar beam scanning can be referred as the convolution of the antenna pattern and the surface scatterers. In order to examine the validity of the echo model, amplitude and phase errors of the echo model are analyzed. The results of prove that the forward-looking real-beam radar echo model that has been built is validity.
