Abstract :
The zone shadowing effect for DOE with two phase quantization levels is considered. Results of the numerical estimation show that fabrication of DOE on a curvilinear surface substantially increase the efficiency of surface usage and reduce the zone shadowing effect. For the given DOE parameters there is optimal shape of surface as well as its optimal space orientation relative to the radiation point source for which the efficiency of DOE surface usage is maximum.
