Abstract
Recent developments in process control benchmarking have centred around benchmarks as performance indicators. In this paper we try to develop benchmarking as a tool for fault monitoring and detection in a process control loop. The underlying practical problem and aim of this work is to develop a framework for the use of a control system of benchmarks to diagnose a fault in pH probe in a process plant
