Abstract
Stable parameter identification of linear open loop discrete data systems represented by an all pole model, via an output error procedure which uses a special category of periodic exciting signals is described in this paper. The linear system is assumed to be open loop stable rather than strictly positive real. The stability of the algorithm for the special class of periodic exciting signals is derived. It is shown that the ultimate gain for the stability depends on the values of the plant parameters
