Abstract :
The reduction of speckle in SAR image is important for SAR images processing. In this paper, we present an efficient despeckle algorithm based on dual-tree complex wavelet transform (DTCWT) and bivariate shrinkage functions. A block-wise despeckle method is proposed to exploit the dependence between the coefficient and its neighbours. Experiment results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm shows great advantage in speckle reduction over the original bivariate shrinkage algorithm.
