  • Abstract
The United States (US) critical infrastructures (CIs) are highly interconnected and each CI is a system of systems. These infrastructures are crucial to our way of life. Thus, analyzing the affects of disruptions in the CIs is important for planning and risk mitigation both on a local and national level. Because of the CIs´ magnitude and complexity, we scope our analysis to present a methodology for determining the k-most critical links of a highway system, an element of the US Transportation CI. This methodology can form the basis for the analysis of the system of systems that represent the US CIs.
