Abstract :
The paper investigates the acquisition performance of DS/FH TTC signals in the presence of multi-tone (MT) jamming. A model describing the impact of MT jamming on signal acquisition is proposed and expressions of both detection and false alarm probabilities are mathematically formulated. The impact of MT jamming on the detection and false alarm probabilities in terms of receiver operation characteristics (ROCs) is investigated via numerical simulation. Results of theoretical formulation and simulation provide theoretical basis and practical reference for signal design and parameters selection of the acquisition system.
