Abstract
In this paper, we propose a quality of service (QoS) aware routing protocol that is capable of traffic sharing for mobile ad hoc networks. Our protocol identifies multiple paths each of which is capable of satisfying the QoS in terms of end-to-end delays. The paths identified are selected in such a manner so that the contention delays along the paths and re-sequencing delays at the destination are reduced. We evaluate the performance of the protocol using simulations. In the performance evaluation, we focus on the QoS success ratio which is the fraction of packets that are able to meet the QoS requirements in terms of end-to-end delays.
