Abstract :
In wireless ad hoc networks one hard issue for each participating node is how to meet its own interest (reducing network workload to save energy) with that of the whole network (providing services as long as possible)? We present a decentralized approach that ensures a fair workload affectation between all nodes, based on their remaining energy provision. We prove analytically that this approach is fair with regard to each node and we valide its effectiveness through simulation.
