Abstract :
This paper introduces a new RF subsystem for UWB communication systems (RUCS). The transceiver provides ultra wideband signal transmission capability by taking advantage of its compact design with four channel hardware structure, which allows for an exceptionally reduction on system complexity, as well as overall cost. By experimental results, the performance of the proposed RF transceiver is shown to be fairly comparable vs. that of the conventional systems.
