Abstract :
On the base of complex analysis of the multisource, multiyear remotely sensed and conventional data sets for the Neva Bay and the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, different-scale spatial and temporal variability of the hydrophysical fields under the changeable natural and anthropogeneous environmental conditions has been investigated. The typical situations characterizing the peculiarities of total suspended matter and the sea surface temperature distribution was revealed. The results of remotely sensed data processing and analyzing allow us to reveal a new knowledge and to up date the characteristics of the hydrological regime of the region under investigation
