Abstract
In an interference limited wireless system, such as CDMA, mobiles´ transmitted power is an essential factor in system capacity. In this paper we consider the effect of decrease of the mobiles´ transmitted power in cells with a reduced traffic load on the capacity of neighboring cells. Simulation results indicate that the relation between mobiles´ power and cell traffic load is an important aspect of CDMA system capacity
