Abstract :
The inductance in a generator is an important parameter to determine the generator operating point. Synchronous inductance consists of magnetization and leakage inductance. In this paper, an analytic method, Quasi-3D, has been proposed to predict inductance in an axial flux permanent magnet slot less synchronous generator. Analytic calculation was done using MATLAB. Then analytical prediction was compared to experiment result. A frequency response test for generator was applied to verify the analytical result.
