Abstract :
In this paper, the resonant frequency, quality factor and electromagnetic field distributions of T-shaped microstrip resonator are computed and analyzed. A novel double-T-shaped microstrip bandstop filter using DGS is designed and its filter performance is simulated. The result shows the filter has some outstanding virtues such as wide bandwidth, high attenuation etc. The filter can be applied in RF circuit for its simple and compact structure, easy integrated and manufacture, low cost and so on.
