Abstract
This paper present a H∞ fuzzy controller for induction motor drive with external disturbance using T-S fuzzy model. First, the Takagi-Sugenou fuzzy model is used to approximate the nonlinear system in the synchronous d-q frame rotating with field-oriented control strategy. Next, a fuzzy controller is designed to reduce the tracking error that guarantees the L2-gain from the external disturbance input to the regulated output is less then some prescribed value. The inaccessible rotor flux is estimated by a T-S fuzzy observer. The gains of the observer and the controller are calculated by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMI). Finally, simulation results are given to show the validity of the observer-based tracking controller.
