  • Abstract
    The paper introduces a highly modular linear permanent magnets brushless drive. The modular structure increases the flexibility and the re-usability, but it requires redesigning the power stage and the control architecture. Possible design solutions are suggested and experimental results obtained on a prototype drive are presented
