Abstract :
Multirate single-stage and multistage structures for high-speed recursive digital filtering are introduced. They can be used for arbitrary bandwidths and to increase the speed to an arbitrary level. Most of the filtering is performed at a lower sampling rate than that of the input and output rates which results in a low computational complexity. Design examples are included for demonstration
