Abstract :
This paper introduces a novel method for image connecting using neural network. The algorithm finds the major overlapping area in the images to be connected using neural network and then join the images. The input to the network is edge detected images created by applying an algorithm on the original images. This work documents theoretical and computational investigation of connecting any two given images using SOM. It proves that Self-organizing neural networks can be efficiently used for this purpose.
