Abstract :
A study is made of a rigid body transformation allowing automatic correlation of 3-D information inherent in different imaging devices. Three methods are examined which depend on the availability of anatomical landmarks (reduced set of points) or on the nature of the physical parameter describing the 3-D data bases (surface or volume matching).<>
