Abstract :
This paper, we introduce two new reduced-complexity algorithms on sphere decoding (SD). The two algorithms execute in different ways to avoid unnecessary recomputations. Compared with the existing modified SD, our algorithms save a considerable amount of unnecessary computation and also perform exact maximum-likelihood (ML) detection.
